It’s funny. In my teenage years I wore red all the time because cholita style. duh. But now as a grownup I rarely wear red…I think because of my hyperpigmentation I just get all self-conscious with how certain colors reflect on my face. I know, I know I have issues. So that being said, when I wear red it has to be the right shade. Even with lipstick…I stick to blue-reds 99 percent of the time.
Anyway, I’ve been doing some editing with my closet, meaning I’ve been purging and letting go of things that no longer fit, I don’t wear anymore, etc. and making piles for donating and selling. And a couple of days ago I found this red Thalia Sodi lacey red dress that Macy’s surprised me with awhile back. I never even gave it a chance (what a fool!)… But now that I’ve actually tried it on and it fits like a glove, I love it so much and I am eyeing the black one! haha!
And it’s comfy and has some stretch…which is super important, right? thought you might appreciate that little nugget of wisdom, especially if you’re on the hunt for a Valentine’s Day dress.
