I received a surprise package from Dear by Renee skincare. Thank you! It’s almost as if they knew I was in need of something immediately after my microneedling session. But how could they know?! So crazy, right?
My esthetician/nurse recommended I purchase something with hyaluronic acid to hydrate my skin. I didn’t have time to get anything – my face was super red from the the treatment and I was avoiding the sun and just wanted to get home.
Anyway let me tell you a bit about these two products I received.
Dear by Renee Skin Renewal Serum $79
This skin renewal serum contains hyaluronic acid – it hydrates the skin. Removes dead cells. Improves clarity. Prevents adult acne. (hooray!) It also promises to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots.
I don’t use serums too often, but I really found this one to be beneficial to me. My face feels smoother and looks more hydrated when I include the serum in my skincare routine. And I think I see a slight difference in my smile/laugh lines.
Dear by Renee Youth Soothing Creme
Soothing. Anti-aging. Hydrating. Great for sensitve and allergy-prone skin. It contains arnica extract which has excellent anti-inflammatory benefits. Soothes itchy, dry, and red skin.
This moisturizer is the bees knees (as I mentioned on instagram). My skin type is oily for the most part. But it seems that since I began using this moisturizer it really soaks up into my skin and doesn’t leave my skin greasy. My makeup has been applying smoother, which is always something I look for in a moisturizer. And I don’t know if it’s just me, but I think the combination of the microneedling treatments I’ve been getting and this skincare have really made my skin happy. Might even be looking younger? maybe? Let’s hope so! 🙂
Anyway. I know these were sent to me. And it might be on the pricier side of things…but I can see myself purchasing it in the future. Because, listen…as I’ve gotten older I have learned and strongly believe that skincare is essential and an investment in prevention and treatment – hello, wrinkles, sun damage, acne, all that stuff.
Let me know if you’ve tried this line before, and how your experience with it was. I’m kinda curious about their eyecare products. Have you tried them? If you haven’t tried this line, what skincare goodies do you treat yourself to these days?
