We actually shot this outfit about a week ago…but life happens. Attended We All Grow LA (Summit) which was tons of fun. Then shortly after, I took a trip to visit my mom and so all of my energy was focused on her. Now, I’m back in LA and so sick. But today I am finally having the energy to write a little bit.
And you know, I do admire styling others in a sixties fashion and especially LOVE shooting it. My own personal style has always had more of a ’40s, ’50s, and sometimes a little ’60s thrown in there just to spice things up.
I rarely rock a nude lip and my hair hasn’t been this big since the days of rocking victory rolls. But surprisingly, I’m kind of diggn’ this look. 😉
Anyway, pretty much everything I am wearing were spectacular finds. My sixties style Banana Republic dress I scored at Out of The Closet in immaculate condition for about five bucks! I was sold on the little bow at the empire waist. Also, I love my little vintage handbag, it’s kind of falling apart now but I can’t let go. My Missoni suede heels were a lucky find at a Target in Phoenix back when everyone was going bananas over that collection.
So what do you babes think? Should I rock the sixties vibe a little more often? And more importantly, do you ever wear styles like this? Where do you shop to piece together your outfits?
