L.A. Colors Brush With Fame - Challenge #4 foundation and concealer tips and tricks

For Challenge #4 in this L.A. Colors Brush With Fame series (contest), I get to chat with you guys about foundations, concealers, contours, and blushes. So here are my tips and tricks.

Prevent Bleeding lipstick:

Especially if you wear bright colors like I do, this step is critical. To prevent your lipstick from bleeding, use a concealer brush and line the outside of your lips with a concealer that closest matches your foundation/skin.

Blemish coverup:
Dab (stipple. and steer clear of swiping.) onto the skin with light motion, preferably with a small brush. I like to add concealer on a blemish after my foundation because I feel like the concealer does it's magic a little better that way. Set the concealer with a powder, lightly dust it on with a small clean brush, you know like maybe a small eyeshadow brush. ;)

Foundations, Concealers, Powders:
My number one tip is to mix colors...yes, even when it comes to foundation. Because let's face it, it can be tricky to match your skin to one product. Play around with your concealers and foundations. Grab a little product from each color you want to work with and place it on a clean flat surface (a plate) and mix away! For powders, I just like to swish my brush in a couple of the powders, dust off and play! Setting your makeup with powder is essential in keeping it shine free and so far I am pleased with these L.A. Colors Minerals powders...not only do they work great but they come in a wide range of colors. Yipee! AND THE CONCEALERS are magic. magic, I tell ya.

Corrective Concealers:
You may wonder sometimes why concealers come in funky colors. Well, it's to correct color in the skin...For example redness, or if you have dark circles under your eyes (the organge one works great). Handy, right? Just dab on and blend in with your finger and/or small brush.

Blushes And Contours:
Blushes and contours. Contour to give more depth and definition to your face and add blush to give it warmth and CHEER! :) GIMME GIMME GIMME A "b!" gimme gimme an "L!" gimme gimme gimme a "U!" gimme gimme gimme an "S!" gimme gimme gimme an "H!"

welp, hope you enjoyed these nuggets of wisdom. ;)
Thanks again guys for being a part of this journey with me!

xoxo
