Confession about a 1940s style dress from Voodoo Vixen

What I wore:
Lillian 1940s style dress - c/o Voodoo Vixen, leopard bow, natural gemstone bracelet (similar here)- c/o Oia Jules, black platform heels (similar here) - Seychelle's

Confession.
I've had this 1940s style dress from Voodoo Vixen for less than a month and it's gotten so much wear, probably more than I'd like to admit...let's just say it's more than five times...with sneakers, with flats, with heels, with wedges - to an event or two, to a makeup gig, to the grocery store, to happy hour, to the Melrose Trading Post, and um, more...oh, you know. :)
You guys do that sometimes, right? You find an article of clothing that just seems to fit perfectly into everything you are doing at the moment, that you just want to wear it everywhere?...Don't lie, I KNOW I am not alone. :)

Anywho. I really really really love this dress...the color, the collar the sleeves, the waist, the way the skirt swings out. It's romantic in the way that makes me want to whisper, "Dear dress, will you marry me?"

So... chances are you'll probably see me wearing this again whether it's in real life or on social media. Just keeping it real. ♥

  1. Nothing wrong with that! What Voodoo Vixen does for you, IGIGI does for me! I used to avoid dresses like the plague and wear them now that I'm older than I ever did when I was younger!

    1. I keep hearing great things about IGIGI. :) I used to be the same way about dresses in my early teens. Glad you now love them. :) Thanks for stopping by Tracy. xo

  2. The style and color look great on you. I do the same thing, wear a favorite over and over again!
